Melkite
Charitable Foundation
The Melkite Charitable Foundation (MCF) was established in 2001 and is the not-for-profit, charitable arm of the Melkite Catholic Eparchy of Australia, New Zealand, and All Oceania.
MCF provides short term, life changing services, like— settlement assistance, refugee advocacy, citizenship and immigration support, aged care and social services support and education scholarships— to people in our community who need our care, particularly humanitarian entrants and other eligible vulnerable migrants.
‘We are a small team that punches above our weight. The Melkite Charitable Foundation sees first-hand the hardship faced by vulnerable members of our community—the authenticity and gratitude of the people we assist is what drives us.’
- Monica Chahoud, MCF President
MCF undertakes important work in our diverse communities. Those we help in the short term give back to their communities and Australia over the long term, in every way. Diversity is important and has always enriched Australia.

Support Us
Donating and volunteering at a charitable organisation, like the Melkite Charitable Foundation, are two of the most rewarding and practical ways to assist people in our community who need our care. Your generosity plays an important role in the services we offer and the support we provide.
